Eliquo Hydrok Joins ADBA
Eliquo Hydrok is pleased to announce that we have joined the Anaerobic Digestion & Bioresources Association (ADBA), the UK’s leading trade association for the anaerobic digestion (AD) industry.
This marks an important step in our push into the non-municipal bioresources space. With over 30 years of experience in water, wastewater, and biosolids processing, we bring proven delivery expertise from municipal customers, alongside strong UK fabrication capability and a focus on practical, reliable outcomes.
As part of the ELIQUO Water Group and the wider SKion Water family, we can bring established bioresources expertise and proven technologies into the AD conversation. Our initial focus is on ELODRY® (low-temperature belt drying for digestate and sludge) and ELOVAC® (vacuum degassing to recover dissolved methane), which are well established in wider applications and can help address challenges around volume reduction, emissions performance and operational efficiency. This is our first wave of entry, with further high-value products planned in successive phases.
We know operators are tightly focused on measurable cost/benefit. That is why we place emphasis on outcomes such as reduced struvite-related downtime, improved dewaterability and more controllable digestate storage, alongside emissions performance. Where appropriate, we can also offer solutions with inCTRL OpsControl “smart” capabilities to make maintenance simpler and improve operational visibility.
The UK AD sector has its own distinct characteristics. Feedstocks, operational models and investment approaches vary significantly, and successful solutions must reflect these realities.
Joining ADBA provides an opportunity to engage directly with the industry to listen, learn and understand how our expertise and solutions can best be applied. Through conversations, site visits and collaboration, we aim to align our capabilities with the needs of operators, designers, constructors and investors.
Our objective is not simply to introduce technology, but to become a credible, long-term partner for the AD community. By combining proven engineering with UK manufacture and a practical, collaborative approach, we aim to support the sector in improving efficiency, reducing environmental impact, and maximising value from waste streams. That includes helping to decarbonise heat and power, and doing our bit to capture aberrant emissions from digestate handling and processing wherever practicable.
We see our ADBA membership as the beginning of that journey and look forward to contributing to the continued growth of the UK AD industry.
