ELIQUO HYDROK: Into 2021, AMP7 and beyond…
With AMP7 bringing new challenges, new expectations and demands for the UK Water industry; ELIQUO HYDROK have re-structured and adopted an even more dynamic approach, to remain at the forefront of the needs of the water industry now and for the future.
Dave Armstrong, who has been MD since 2015, has stepped down from the role as a Board Director as of 31 December to make way for a new joint Managing Director partnership of Lewis O’Brien (as MD | CEO) and Peter Wroe (as MD | CFO).
In a statement Dave Armstrong said “I am delighted to be handing over the reins to Lewis and Peter, at the start of a new AMP period, who are well equipped to steer ELIQUO HYDROK into AMP7 and help the industry meet the challenges.
Lewis O’Brien and Peter Wroe said “ELIQUO HYDROK are well into our preparation for the next 5 years, with plans to continue strategic growth, build on the existing portfolio, introduce new advanced technologies and to continue to provide the innovation and solutions to our Clients. Many customers are already placing orders in advance for wastewater processes and sludge treatment technologies for AMP 7 such as Mecana and ELOVAC®.
AMP7 is going to be challenging, but ELIQUO HYDROK are prepared and already “off the mark”.
Dave initially joined, what was then Hydrok UK, as a board director in 2007 responsible for sales and engineering with particular expertise in wastewater management solutions. During his tenure, the company built and expanded on the core business of CSO Screens by offering an increased portfolio of storm water, flow control and flushing technologies. As of 2015, and MD, he and Lewis guided the company on developing wastewater treatment solutions with fine bubble aeration, IFAS and tertiary filtration - with the introduction of Mecana systems. After the acquisition by ELIQUO WATER GROUP, part of Skion GmbH, new sludge technologies were added to company portfolio in preparation for AMP7.
Dave remains involved for a short period to focus on the company’s market leading wastewater management technologies in preparation for a new dedicated Business Manager for the Screening and Stormwater division.
