As part of our sludge treatment portfolio, we also offer the ELODRY®, a low temperature stainless steel belt dryer manufactured in Germany and designed specifically for sewage sludge. Its modular compact and designed for sewage sludge drying with minimal CO2 emissions. The ELODRY delivers up to 80% mass reduction, reduces transport costs and can be combined with carbonisation processes to produce phosphorus rich bio fertiliser.

ELOVAC: What is it?



ELOVAC® is a vacuum degassing skid-unit designed to remove dissolved methane and CO2 from digested sludge.

ELODRY® Low temperature belt dryer

What is it?

ELODRY® is a low temperature, stainless-steel belt dryer manufactured in Germany, designed specifically for sewage sludge.

Key benefits

  • Mass reduction: Removes up to 80% of water from sludge dramatically reducing transport and disposal costs.
  • Energy efficiency: Uses heat recovery so that exhaust air preheats incoming air. Specific heat demand is ~ 750kWHth per tonne of evaporated water, electrical demand is under 50 kWh l/t
  • Safety and modular design: Operates under slight vacuum to prevent odours, with temperature and particle sensors plus a built-in sprinkler system for safety.
  • Decentralised deployment: Thanks to its modular footprint ELODRY® can be installed on sites with low civil works.
