As a key-worker industry we design, manufacture, engineer and install surface water, wastewater and drinking water solutions, from flood management products through to large scale sewage treatment tanks and filtration. We are the exclusive UK distributor for a number of leading European specialist manufacturers within the water industry and we work closely with our 100% shareholder ELIQUO WATER Group based in Germany, particularly to develop products to support Net Zero Carbon.

Our established team of 120 people are crucial in our quality and performance and we have a good track record of career progression. We are recruiting roles at all levels, including apprentices and kickstart placements, to support our advanced growth plans, most of which are based at our Head Office and factory at Indian Queens, North Cornwall. These roles would suit candidates already in Cornwall or someone wishing to move to one of the most sought-after places to live in the UK.

Marketing Manager

Are you an experienced Marketing Manager who can implement our marketing strategy? Do you want to be part of a rapidly growing £25m company?

Are you an experienced Marketing Manager who can review, develop, and implement our UK marketing strategy? Can you lead our conference programme? Do you want to be part of a rapidly growing £25m company?

This is a pivotal role to help support our 5-year business strategy by developing and implementing a UK and Ireland B2B marketing strategy. This includes both above-the-line and below-the-line marketing through a range of channels (in-person, postal, digital, social, press, etc.)

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be part of a team of 140+ colleagues delivering high-quality, essential services underpinning water infrastructure and environmental improvement across the UK.

About you:

Key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Review, develop and implement our UK marketing strategy.
  • Management of UK marketing budget and deployment thereof to deliver the marketing Objectives and Key Results, including data analysis on campaign efficacy and ROI.
  • Lead our conference programme. Liaise with organisers of conferences and trade shows, contract negotiation, placing of Speakers, and papers. Attendance at conferences (approximately 6 UK per annum and 2 international).
  • Supervision of the ELIQUO HYDROK UK brand image, including supporting all staff with the consistent ‘look and feel’ of all stakeholder interfaces: Products & technologies – input on aesthetic design to align with brand image.
  • Website refresh.
  • Customer communications journey.
  • Pro-actively manage and develop our social media presence, including LinkedIn and other platforms as may be appropriate.
  • Implement and exploit CRM database of existing and potential key stakeholders, including targeted marketing campaigns.
  • Maintenance and update of business literature, creation of new marketing literature.
  • Liaise with industry press to create and place features, press releases and advertising.
  • Develop a sound working knowledge of the company's technologies (training will be provided).

Essential requirements to succeed in the role are:

  • Have experience of the UK Utilities sector, especially water and wastewater.
  • Have demonstrable experience in leading B2B marketing campaigns.
  • Creative with a strong design aesthetic and an eye for good imagery. Experienced at copywriting and proof-reading with the ability to write engaging copy for a range of formats/channels, in particular e-newsletters, website, social media.
  • Have experience of using CRM systems and mailshot systems.
  • The role requires excellent communication skills and stakeholder management in a collaborative working environment and being organised and pro-active.

Business Development Manager for Biosolid Technologies

As an established provider of wastewater treatment technologies to the UK water industry, the successful candidate will work within the Biosolids team, including Engineering. This role offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in growing and shaping our biosolids business, especially the ELOVAC®  Technology.

Reporting directly to Senior Management, you will be crucial in product management, market development, and strategic clients.

  • Expand Biosolids product portfolio - develop and execute business strategies to expand our biosolids product portfolio and market presence in the UK
  • Drive Sales - drive and execute technical sales within the UK municipal market.
  • Product Expert - act as a product expert, identifying customer needs and aligning solutions to meet market demands
  • Identify Growth Opportunities - monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to identify growth opportunities
  • Team Collaboration - collaborate with internal teams to ensure effective project delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Represent ELIQUO HYDROK - at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote our biosolids expertise
  • Lead the preparation and submission of proposals and tenders, supported by the Tendering team, ensuring they address client requirements effectively, whilst maximising price and commercial benefits for the Company.

Essential requirements to succeed in this role

  • Proven experience in business development, sales or product management within the water or environmental sector
  • Technical expertise in wastewater treatment or biosolids processes
  • Experience managing projects or sales cycles involving capital equipment or engineered solutions.
  • A network of contacts within the UK water/waste water industry.
  • Regular travel within the UK and Ireland is required. Visits to Head Office (Cornwall) are expected every three months on a rolling basis.
  • Submit a weekly sales contact plan to the Head of Sales, including results from the prior week’s sales contact plan.
  • Submit monthly performance metrics to the Head of Sales.

Welder Fabricators

Due to continued expansion ELIQUO HYDROK are currently seeking welder/fabricators

As an established provider of wastewater treatment technologies to the UK water industry, the successful candidates will work within the fabrication department, reporting to our Fabrication workshop manager

Your duties and responsibilities will vary but include:

  • Fabrication of medium to large products of up to 5 tonnes.
  • Bench work as and when required.

Essential requirements:

Experience with stainless steel MIG and TIG welding.

Ability to work unsupervised.

Ability to develop patterns.

Desirable:

  • Completed an apprenticeship is this trade.
  • Own Hand Tools.
  • MMA welding experience.
  • EN287 and ASME IX

Selected applicants will be required to attend an interview and carry out a supervised weld/task test.

Usual working hours are either 06.00 to 16.30 or 07.00 to 17.30 Monday to Thursday

Salary – Dependant on qualifications and experience.
