Projects Coordinator

Location: Head Office, Indian Queens, Cornwall

A great opportunity has arisen for a bright individual with excellent communication skills, a flexible approach and good attention to detail to join the Sales Administration team of a leading Engineering company based in Indian Queens.

We are looking for either an experienced candidate or a trainee wishing to progress in Sales in a supportive, non-direct role.

Your role will be to support the Sales Team. The duties include:

  • Co-ordinating the supply of products sold throughout each long-term project
  • Updating the Company database
  • Entering of Sales purchase orders
  • General filing duties and accurate maintenance of Sales files
  • Uploading and retrieving of documents
  • Responding to customers’ queries in a professional manner

The successful candidate will have good written and verbal communication skills, good customer service skills and an excellent telephone manner.  A good working knowledge of MS Office applications is essential, as is the ability to work as part of a team and being eager and willing to learn. The ability to work in a pressurised environment and to prioritise varying workloads is also a key requirement.

The minimum qualifications for a candidate are 5 GCSE passes at Grade C or above, including Maths and English. Previous experience in a Customer Service/Administrative role and knowledge of Sage Accounts would also be an advantage.

Hours: 40 hours per week Mon-Fri 08.30-17.00

Salary – Dependant on qualifications and experience.

Factory Engineering Supervisor

Location: Truro, United Kingdom

An opportunity for an experienced Engineering Supervisor to join our busy team in our factory at Indian Queens in Cornwall.

Candidates should have good engineering knowledge, be experienced in management, planning, progress chasing and the general running of a busy manufacturing facility.

The post involves working closely with all departments of the business, logistics, procurement, design, H&S, QA etc. to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the correct standard.

Welder Fabricator

Location: Tavistock, Devon, UK

Due to continued expansion Eliquo Hydrok Ltd are currently seeking  welder/fabricators at our manufacturing facility in Launceston.

We are an established provider of waste water treatment technologies to the UK water industry; clients include the eleven UK water utilities.

The successful candidate shall work within the fabrication department, reporting to our Fabrication workshop manager
Your duties and responsibilities will vary but include:

Main Duties:

  • Fabrication of medium to large products of up to 5 tonnes
  • Bench work as and when required

Essential requirements:

  • Experience with stainless steel MIG and TIG welding
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to develop patterns

Desirable:

  • Completed an apprenticeship is this trade
  • Own Hand Tools
  • MMA welding experience
  • EN287 and ASME IX

Selected applicants will be required to attend an interview and carry out a supervised weld/task test.

We have 4 permanent positions available.

Mechanical Design Engineer / Draughtsman

Eliquo Hydrok Ltd are currently seeking both CAD draughtspersons and an experienced Design Engineer to join a busy team within their Head office based in Cornwall. 

We are an established provider of wastewater treatment technologies to the UK water industry; clients include the eleven UK water utilities. 

This is an opportunity for an experienced CAD Design Engineer to join a market leading Engineering company within the water industry. 

Based at our Office in Indian Queens, you will be responsible for producing a range of detailed GA drawings and manufacturing drawings. 

Experience with Microsoft Office, Autodesk Autocad and 3D modelling is essential. 

The candidate must be accurate with good attention to detail and have a good understanding of engineering and fabrication practices. Good communication skills are essential to liaise with clients, Project Managers and site engineers. 

Experience in the water industry and manufacturing industries would be highly advantageous. Usual working hours are 8:30 to 17:00 mon-fri, with excellent holiday provisions.

Mechanical Installers/Supervisors needed in Yorkshire

Location: Wombwell, Barnsley, Yorkshire, United Kingdom

Due to continued expansion Eliquo Hydrok Ltd are currently seeking a mechanical installer from our depot in Wombwell, Barnsley.

 We are an established provider of waste water treatment technologies to the UK water industry; clients include the eleven UK water utilities.

The successful candidate shall work within the installation department, reporting to our fitting supervisors, Area Manager and Operations Manager.

Your duties and responsibilities will vary but include carrying out mechanical installation activities on-site as part of an installation team throughout the UK and Ireland.

The successful candidate will: 

  • Have a good all round mechanical background.
  • Competent in understanding/reading engineering drawings.
  • Experience with working on construction sites.
  • Be able to work on your own, or as part of a team
  • Be able to communicate well at all levels
  • Hold a full UK driving license.

Experience in the water industry and manufacturing industries would be highly advantageous.

Other desirable qualifications (but not essential):

  • CSCS card.
  • Confined Space.
  • CPCS Slinger signaller.
  • CPCS Lift Supervisor.
  • First Aid at work.
  • IPAF
  • SSSTS
  • SMSTS

Usual working hours are 8:00 to 17:00 Mon-Fri with excellent holiday provisions. The position will require travel nationally and working away from home when required to complete installation activities. Further details will be provided during the interview.
