As a key-worker industry we design, manufacture, engineer and install surface water, wastewater and drinking water solutions, from flood management products through to large scale sewage treatment tanks and filtration. We are the exclusive UK distributor for a number of leading European specialist manufacturers within the water industry and we work closely with our 100% shareholder ELIQUO WATER Group based in Germany, particularly to develop products to support Net Zero Carbon.

ICT Technician

Location: Head Office, Indian Queens, Cornwall

Office based with 2-day Hybrid homeworking option. Approximately 6-monthly visits to other sites (e.g. Barnsley) with use of company pool car.

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Hours: Full time 08:30 – 17:00. Part time will be considered.

ELIQUO Hydrok are an award-winning established and growing market leader. We provide critical wastewater, drinking water and surface water management solutions to all the municipal water companies in the UK and Ireland with a growing global presence.

To support our continued growth this is the first ICT specific role in the company. We seek an experienced all-round ICT Technician to keep our hardware and systems fit for purpose, manage ICT security, and work with the team to implement a paperless and modern office by supporting adoption of software tools including ERP (Microsoft D365), MS Teams and SharePoint with a data strategy.

The role reports to the Head of Supply Chain with a dotted line to the Operations Director and CFO.

Key accountabilities

  • Install, monitor and maintain operability of technical platforms for internal colleagues (desktop, servers, network, cloud, security, software, telephony etc) measured with a dashboard of ICT KPIs
  • Implement and maintain security best practice policies
  • Implement and maintain data storage and retention best practice policies to meet legal requirements.
  • Maintain user licencing for effective system use at best value
  • Work with the Head of Supply Chain to manage the ICT budget and external supplier relationships. Determine and implement best first line/second line service desk process.
  • A member of the D365 project board

Ideal candidates will:

  • Hold a recognised and current Microsoft accreditation or relevant IT experience.
  • Have proven technical knowledge of ICT networks, protocols, antivirus, and operating system configuration
  • have good analytical, conceptual and problem solving- abilities
  • be organised with the ability to prioritise your workload

Desirable experiences are:

  • ICT experience in an engineering/manufacturing company
  • MS Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems in a Finance or Production environment

Welder Fabricators

Due to continued expansion ELIQUO HYDROK are currently seeking welder/fabricators

As an established provider of waste water treatment technologies to the UK water industry, the successful candidates will work within the fabrication department, reporting to our Fabrication workshop manager

Your duties and responsibilities will vary but include:

  • Fabrication of medium to large products of up to 5 tonnes.
  • Bench work as and when required.

Essential requirements:

Experience with stainless steel MIG and TIG welding.

Ability to work unsupervised.

Ability to develop patterns.


  • Completed an apprenticeship is this trade.
  • Own Hand Tools.
  • MMA welding experience.
  • EN287 and ASME IX

Selected applicants will be required to attend an interview and carry out a supervised weld/task test.

Usual working hours are 8:00 to 17:15 Mon-Thursday and Friday 8:00 to 13:00

Tendering Engineer

We are looking for experienced Mechanical or Civil Tendering Engineers to play a key part in our growth plans and join our growing Tendering and Estimating team in managing the preparation of tenders for NEC3/ NEC4 subcontracts typically ranging from £0.5m to £1m, sometimes up to £10m.

The position is mainly office based, with a Hybrid homeworking option requiring 2 days in the base office as an option. Occasional site visits will be required with a company pool car available for this purpose.

Full time working hours: 08.30 - 17.00. Part time will be considered.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.

Ideal candidates will:

  • Have experience of tendering engineering or civil works as a sub-contractor.
  • Have a quantity surveying or commercial management qualification/part qualification accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) / or similar
  • Be experienced in NEC 3 or NEC 4 contract negotiation
  • Have a strong commercial acumen and/or management accounting experience
  • Have good Excel modelling skills
  • Have qualifications in mechanical or civil engineering

Desirable experiences are water/utility engineering, manufacturing, process engineering, good Excel modelling skills, MS Dynamics 365 or similar ERP systems, Europe/global customer contracts, and presenting to customers and the internal Board of Directors.

The role requires excellent communication skills and stakeholder management in a collaborative working environment.

Assisting Project Managers with delivery of ELIQUO Hydrok Projects directly under their control in a safe and efficient manner. This will include specific Project tasks delegated routinely by Project Managers, and other related tasks occasionally delegated by other colleagues in your line management chain, such as the Contracts Manager or Company Directors. All work is to be conducted in a manner that contributes to the efficient and effective management of Projects, with the aim of ensuring completion on time and on budget, to the agreed specification and contract requirements, whilst ensuring at all times that the best interests of ELIQUO Hydrok are preserved.


  • Assist the Project Manager with the safe delivery of our obligations under each contract directly assigned to them, on time and within budget.
  • Attending Project handover from the Tendering Team and aid the Project Manager in conducting a detailed review of the requirements of each contract.
  • Assist the Project Manager to maximise financial returns, protect commercial interests, exploit opportunities and maintain the reputation of ELIQUO Hydrok, whilst ensuring that we meet the Clients expectations and that they will be keen to work with us again in the future.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of site operations in relation to each Project in a safe and efficient manner, in conjunction with the Operations Manager.
  • Assist with the control and tracking of project budgets.
  • Assist with, and contribute to, the development and growth of ELIQUO Hydrok to be the UK market leader in Water and Wastewater Engineering Solutions.
  • Assist with and contribute to developing and fostering positive client relationships and in conjunction with the relevant Area Manager, provide feedback on information gained on future opportunities and competitor activity to the ELIQUO Hydrok senior management team.


  • Assist with defining the requirements and scope for third party supplied elements of each Project and in conjunction with Supply Chain Management procure such items as required.
  • Assist with defining the requirements and scope for internally manufactured elements of each Project and in conjunction with the Design Department, ensure that designs are available to enable delivery of the Projects.
  • Assist with monitoring, controlling, and communicating detailed programmes to the relevant stakeholders on each Project, including ELIQUO Hydrok colleagues responsible for design, fabrication, manufacture and fitout of the plant and equipment required for each project.
  • Assist with the planning and organisation of Mobilisation, Demobilisation and site works activities.
  • Assist with maintaining contemporary records of all Project activities, including but not limited to; Contractor Instructions, Early Warning Notices and Compensation Events, and liaise with others in the ELIQUO Hydrok team where necessary to ensure that our commercial/contractual interests are maximized and protected as circumstances develop on each project.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of progress reports as required by ELIQUO Hydrok and the Client.
  • Assist with preparing Applications for Payment or invoices on a routine (Monthly) basis, or as required.
  • Maintain good written and verbal communications with the Client and the ELIQUO Hydrok team, ensuring that there are “no surprises” to project Stakeholders.
  • Assist with ensuring ELIQUO Hydrok and Client compliance with contractual terms and conditions, highlighting any potential areas of exposure.
  • Understand and comply with contract notification and reporting procedures.
  • Assist with the production and submission of required project documentation including but not limited to; Programmes, Design Documentation, QHSE Management Plans, Risk Assessment & Method statements (RAMS), Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Manuals, Training Materials plus any others required by the Contract.
  • Participate as required, in the design & development of systems.
  • Undertake detailed site visits as necessary to enable completion of the Project. These may include pre-delivery surveys, snagging inspections, risk reduction meetings or handover inspections.
  • Assistance with site record keeping as required and interface with ELIQUO Hydrok office.
  • Assistance with the creation and compliance with operational method statements, Risk assessments and project or task specific QHSE documentation.
  • Act as the primary Project point of contact for site teams during any site works, assisting with troubleshooting as may be required.
  • Act as the technical specialist on topics as defined and agreed with the Contracts Manager or Project Managers, specifically with the aim of building a knowledge base within ELIQUO Hydrok.
  • Assist with troubleshooting as may be required.
