CAD Design Engineer

Location: Head Office, Indian Queens, Cornwall

Eliquo Hydrok are currently seeking a CAD Design Engineer to join a busy team within their offices based in the South West of England. 

They are an established provider of waste water treatment technologies to the UK water industry; clients include the eleven UK water utilities. 

This is an opportunity for an experienced CAD Design Engineer to join a market leading Engineering company within the water industry. 

Based at their office in Indian Queens, you will be responsible for producing a range of detailed GA drawings and manufacturing drawings. Experience with Microsoft Office, CAD design and 3D modelling is essential. 

The candidate must be accurate with good attention to detail and have a good understanding of engineering and fabrication practices. Good communication skills are essential to liaise with clients, Project Managers and site engineers. 

Experience in the water industry and manufacturing industries would be highly advantageous. 

Usual working hours are 8:00 to 17:15 Mon-Thur and Fri 8:00 to 13:00 with excellent holiday provisions. The position will require travel nationally when required to complete installation and commissioning activities.

Salary – Dependant on qualifications and experience.

Electrical Engineer/Electrician

Location: Head Office, Indian Queens, Cornwall

We are an established provider of waste water treatment technologies to the UK water industry; clients include the eleven UK water utilities.

The successful candidate shall work within the electrical department, reporting to the Electrical supervisor your duties and responsibilities will vary but include:

Panel building and bespoke equipment electrical fit outs at our manufacturing facility.

Carry out electrical installation and commissioning activities on-site throughout the UK and Ireland, enhanced hourly rate would apply dependant on experience.

  • The Successful candidate will have served a recognised City and Guilds Electrical Apprenticeship.
  • 17th edition certification.
  • Competent in understanding/reading electrical drawings.
  • Experience with panel building.
  • Be able to work on your own or as part of a team
  • Be able to communicate well at all levels
  • Hold a full UK driving license.

 Experience in the water industry and manufacturing industries would be highly advantageous.

 Other desirable qualifications (but not essential)

  • CSCS card.
  • Confined Space.
  • First Aid at work.
  • CompEx.

Tendering Engineer

Location: Head Office, Indian Queens, Cornwall

Eliquo Hydrok Ltd are currently seeking a Tendering Engineer to join a busy team within their Head office based in Cornwall. 

We are an established provider of waste water treatment technologies to the UK water industry; clients include the eleven UK water utilities. 

This is an opportunity for a new member to join the project delivery team within a market leading Engineering company operating within the water industry. 

Ideal candidates will have qualifications in mechanical or civil engineering, and experience in tender preparation, design and costing of M&E projects to varied client specifications.

The successful candidate shall work within the proposals team to progress water and waste water treatment projects from initial enquiry through design and option development through to order placement. The role requires excellent communication skills, both with co-workers, supply chain and customers to create truly collaborative working environments throughout the development of multiple tenders.

Experience in the water industry, in manufacturing, process engineering and drawing skills would be highly advantageous.

Usual working hours are 8:30 to 17:00 mon-fri, with excellent holiday provisions. The position will be based at our head office in Cornwall, with opportunities for travel nationally on occasions. Welder Fabricator

Location: Tavistock, Devon, UK

Due to continued expansion Eliquo Hydrok Ltd are currently seeking  welder/fabricators at our manufacturing facility in Launceston.

We are an established provider of waste water treatment technologies to the UK water industry; clients include the eleven UK water utilities.

The successful candidate shall work within the fabrication department, reporting to our Fabrication workshop manager
Your duties and responsibilities will vary but include:

Main Duties:

  • Fabrication of medium to large products of up to 5 tonnes
  • Bench work as and when required

Essential requirements:

  • Experience with stainless steel MIG and TIG welding
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to develop patterns

Desirable:

  • Completed an apprenticeship is this trade
  • Own Hand Tools
  • MMA welding experience
  • EN287 and ASME IX

Selected applicants will be required to attend an interview and carry out a supervised weld/task test.

We have 4 permanent positions available.

Mechanical Installers/Supervisors needed in Yorkshire

Location: Wombwell, Barnsley, Yorkshire, United Kingdom

Due to continued expansion Eliquo Hydrok Ltd are currently seeking a mechanical installer from our depot in Wombwell, Barnsley.

 We are an established provider of waste water treatment technologies to the UK water industry; clients include the eleven UK water utilities.

The successful candidate shall work within the installation department, reporting to our fitting supervisors, Area Manager and Operations Manager.

Your duties and responsibilities will vary but include carrying out mechanical installation activities on-site as part of an installation team throughout the UK and Ireland.

The successful candidate will: 

  • Have a good all round mechanical background.
  • Competent in understanding/reading engineering drawings.
  • Experience with working on construction sites.
  • Be able to work on your own, or as part of a team
  • Be able to communicate well at all levels
  • Hold a full UK driving license.

Experience in the water industry and manufacturing industries would be highly advantageous.

Other desirable qualifications (but not essential):

  • CSCS card.
  • Confined Space.
  • CPCS Slinger signaller.
  • CPCS Lift Supervisor.
